How To Reproduce Bettas Successfully

The equipment and tanks Set-up

Before you plan to replicate your Betta fish make sure you have all the right equipment. You make sure you have a good pool size, about 15-20 liters. You'll also need a heater, thermometer and an air pump. The air pump also need to be connected to an air of rock that will create and spread of small bubbles. These small bubbles are needed to fry, eggs or Betta, because they are sensitive to water movements. When filling your tank, you should not exceed 10-15 cm. Once your Betta to lay their eggs are then stored in a nest of bubbles. Sometimes, as the eggs are denser than water, eggs and the fall of male Betta will return to the nest. If your water is too deep, it will be very tiring for men. Having a thermometer in the tank is very important because you will need to make sure you maintain the correct temperature of 28-29 degrees Celsius. If you let the temperature rise above 28-29 degrees Celsius will cause the eggs to hatch too early, before they are fully developed. You will also need to cover your reproduction aquarium with a lid. You'll need this cover to keep the air temperature inside the aquarium.

Establishment for reproduction

When your tank is established, it is time to put in fish. You must first introduce the male in the evening and put the female in a jar next to the tank, with a little light, so they will be able to see each other. In doing this is to help stimulate people to make the nest of bubbles. The next morning, you must enter the female. Once you've put her in the pool of male hunting around him, so you need to have plants in the corners to create a shelter for women.

Reproduction

Once the eggs are laid the men and sometimes women, will be the eggs in their mouths in the nest of bubbles. They do not eat their own eggs, it's just the way they carry them, do not remove the fish in fear of losing the eggs. Once the eggs are set, you must remove the woman from the aquarium, so that the male does not brutalize her. This happens sometimes because man seeks to protect the nest. It will take about 48 hours to fry to hatch, after about 2 to 3 days, the fry will swim free. Once the fry swim free, you must remove the man in the tank, and start feeding fry.
